I just drove down the road in a mild snowstorm and it occurs to me that one thing that President Obama could do to change is to finally institute tha daytime running lamp law for all vehicles. We were supposed to have had this 10 years ago and the way I see it is if you can't get people to turn on their headlights when they should then that needs to be done for them. This is not as offensive as the seat belt law that we already have, that probably should be optional, it only affects the people that don't wear them but driving around in any lowlight situation with no headlights on affects me, if I can't see you coming. This one thing could be done and needs to be done. People should always drive with their lights on but you can't get some of them to see the value of this. Turn on your headlights and be seen. This means everyone.
